Delivered Catering Terms and Conditions
Acceptance of your quote indicates acceptance of these Terms and Conditions for delivered catering.
For events and weddings, please refer to the Terms of Service emailed to you.
1. Price
All prices are GST exclusive unless otherwise stated. The price of goods supplied are as per Food Envy’s published price list or specific quoted order price (whichever is applicable).
2. Ordering and confirmation
2.1 To ensure your order is confirmed and supplied on time, Food Envy requires all orders to be placed as per Clause 2.2. Any orders taken after that time will be considered Late Orders (re: Clause 3), and additional charges will apply.
2.2 Ordering days are as followed;
Delivery for Monday - 12pm Friday prior
Delivery for Tuesday - 5pm Friday prior
Delivery for Wednesday - 5pm Monday
Delivery Thursday - 5pm Tuesday
Delivery Friday - 5pm Wednesday
Delivery for Saturday or Sunday - 5pm Thursday
2.3 Acceptance of your quote is confirmed by written email response. Acceptance of your quote indicates acceptance of these Terms.
3. Weekend Orders
3.1 For all weekend orders, on acceptance of the final quote, Food Envy will send you an invoice for a 100% of the total charge to secure the booking. This invoice must be paid no later than two weeks prior to your delivery date. Orders placed within two weeks of the required delivery date will require immediate payment.
4. Late Orders or Changes to Orders
4.1 Any orders taken within one working day of required time will incur an additional $50 charge on top of the normal published price list or specific quoted order price (for an order that is not a Late Order) whichever is applicable.
4.2 While all efforts will be made to accommodate orders placed within one working day of required time, Food Envy will only confirm an order that fits in with existing client deliveries.
4.3 Food Envy reserves the right to offer “Chefs Choice” of menu for late or changes to any orders. If you decide to choose your own menu, Food Envy may not be able to cater to your request or a surcharge will apply.
4.4 All menus are subject to availability and we will make any substitutes closest to the original value as possible. We reserve the right to substitute ingredients or menu items if necessary and will charge accordingly. We will inform you if this is the case.
5. Delivery and Pick-ups
5.1 Food Envy’s delivery fees are automatically calculated based on your location, catering order and requirements.
5.2 All catering will be delivered by Food Envy on supplied crockery/or any relevant additional equipment. All crockey and equipment will be collected by Food Envy the following business day for any CBD orders. Collections outside of the CBD will come at an additional delivery charge and will be arranged for a suitable time.
5.3 Any crockery or equipment that is damaged or missing will be invoiced at the full replacement cost.
5.4 Request for same day crockery or equipment collection will incur an additional delivery fee.
5.5 The client must ensure that a person is available for Food Envy to collect crockery and equipment if there is restricted access. You will be charged a delivery fee if we are unable to collect our equipment due to inaccessibility.
5.6 Pick ups from Food Envy are an alternative to delivery. Collection times can be arranged when ordering.
6. Dietary Requirements, Allergens & Serious Health Risks
6.1 Please notify us of dietary requests when placing your order. Dietary requirements may incur additional charges depending on items ordered, outlined on our menu and will be itemised separately on quotes and invoices.
6.2 Custom items may be necessary for complex dietary needs. Custom items will incur additional charges and is at our discretion, however we will aim to match the clients per person budget allocation.
6.3 Guests with high risk dietary requirements must sight and approve the alternative menu that we propose. It is preferred that guests suggest safe menu items that we may be able to prepare.
6.4 Our kitchen handles nuts, seeds, sesame, eggs, dairy and gluten products. Due to unintentional cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that our food items are completely free of those products.
6.5 Food Envy reserves the right to reject dietary requests if we feel that we cannot safely cater for a dietary requirement.
7. Health & Safety/ Food Handling
7.1 Hot items are delivered hot and ready to serve, unless requested to be delivered cold, or where you have requested multiple meal deliveries for the one delivery time. Food should be kept refrigerated until required.
7.2 Food Envy will not be held liable for the health and safety of our customers whereby food has not been chilled / reheated as per instructions, or consumed more than 30 minutes after the specified service time. Please refer to our ‘Guide to storing and reheating your catering’ as part of these terms and conditions.
8. Cancellation
8.1 If your plans change and you need to cancel your order, please contact us via phone immediately.
8.2 Cancellation to orders must be made one business day prior to the time and date of order, otherwise charges for prepared items will be invoiced in full.
9. Payment
9.1 For catering supplied between Monday and Friday, an invoice will be sent following the date of delivery.
9.2 Payment terms are strictly 7 days following the event unless otherwise agreed upon.
10. Disputes & Credits
Disputes and credits will only be considered valid if brought to Food Envy’s attention within 3 working days of the date of supply. Credits will not be given for procured goods.
